Editorial policy
Meaningful Chronicle aims to make thoughtful, useful writing about personal storytelling. We distinguish explanation from opinion, take care with claims, and make our commercial relationships visible.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable references when a topic calls for them, and we avoid presenting a personal interpretation as a universal rule. Articles should make clear when an approach is one option among several. We do not claim first-hand experience or research that has not taken place.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions remain distinct from commercial arrangements. Any paid, gifted or otherwise supported material is identified clearly where it appears. Partner placements are labelled so readers can tell them apart from editorial articles; a partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making a note of substantive changes where appropriate.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Where that is the case, we label the image or its caption. Illustrations are not evidence of a real person, event or document unless explicitly stated and verified.
A story can matter without being grand
Meaningful Chronicle looks at the choices that help ordinary experiences become clear, honest stories. Start with what you remember; use what you have.
